Very happy with the tree pruning work they did in our yard. We’ve worked with many arborists over the years as we have several large 40 year old mesquites and eucalyptus in our yard, but happy tree guys did the best work to date.

Great company. Very responsive and communicative. We got a few quotes from different companies, and these guys seemed to know what they are talking about, without trying to over sell/over hype. Pricing was good and the work was great. Trimmed 4 large trees for us. Also removed a tree that another company planted incorrectly. The tree was dying. They replaced with a new tree and got it set up for success. Very happy with using them. Will be using again.

We recently had Eric and his crew out to work on two large Tipu trees, a large grapefruit tree, and several smaller orange trees that required significant attention. They did an outstanding job, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Their trimming and pruning is truly a work of art, and they left the area spotless. I have nothing but good things to say about Happy Tree Guys. I had a very large Mesquite that was in the process of dying that either needed to be trimmed or removed. We chose to remove it because it was crowding out our red gum and bottle trees. Additionally, we had an orchid tree and a Palo Verde that had not been pruned in many years. I will list out the high points of the job that Happy Tree Guys did. 1. They were very responsive when I requested them to come out to give me quote, called me back the same day and scheduled to come out a day later. 2. When Scott came out, he not only quoted the job but also spent some time looking at it and giving me options on what could possibly be done. Initially, we were going to just trim the Mesquite, but based on its position and condition, we decided to remove it. 3. After I accepted the quote, the team was out within a couple of days and were ready to start the job by 8:00am. 4. Eric came out with the crew and reviewed what needed to be done. He explained it to the team and they were off to the races. 5. The large tree that was taken down, was done so without damaging any of the nearby landscaping. Our fence and beds were all protected with tarps. Not one piece of the tree, hit the ground without being lowered by ropes. 4. Every log branch and twig was removed and cleaned up at the end of that job. Additionally, the stump was ground and it looks like there was never even a tree on that location. 5. The trimming of the Palo Verde and the orchid tree was done professionally and quickly with everything being cleaned up perfectly. The pictures I attached were before, and after of each of the trees that were worked on. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who has tree work to do.

Besides dropping seeds in our pool, the ficus were encroaching on our neighbor’s yard, so we wanted them aggressively cut back, more than a simple trim. The large crew arrived on time as scheduled, and we t right to work, and we were impressed by their skill, snd attention to detail. we were not disappointed. Also the removed foots under our patio, where the pavers were being pushed up. After finishing that, it was line a brand new patio. Scott snd crew were at their best. Excellent work! Were early to their spot time and went right to work. We have many trees, olive, citrus, paloverde, chilean mesquite and others. Easily 20 + trees. The trees are thinned, fertilized and looking fantastic. Purchased our home recently and the trees had been poorly trimmed at best and allowed to grow thick and gnarly. They look beautiful now and no doubt will withstand the storms better. Highly recommend.

Had a mature Palo verde fall after a storm blocking the side walk and into part of the street. They were responded the next morning and did a great job - quick clean up and a bargain compared to other companies.

Trimmed a large Palo Verde. The overgrown canopy was left airy and well balanced. The guys asked if I was happy and obliged me with a few more cuts to my liking. Clean up was perfect and the price reasonable.

Happy Tree Guys are the best! Called them to have a very large palm removed and a large tipu tree trimmed. They came out that same day to give an estimate and were able to do the work a couple days later. They were friendly, reasonably priced, and David and the crew were total pros. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience. This company is completely unreliable. They scheduled my tree removal twice and failed to show up either time, with no communication or follow through. Two days wasted waiting around for a crew that never came. It's extremely unprofessional to waste a customer's time like this. If you value your time and want a company that communicates and follows through, look elsewhere. *** Update*** I spoke with Scott the owner and he apologized for all of the no shows. They came back and took the tree down at the time and date they promised. Thank you to Scott and his crew for making this right.

The guys did a great job with our Ficus, Mesquite and Oak trees and removing our queen palms. They cleaned up and even skimmed the pool. Very happy and will use them again.

From my first call to Eric with Happy Tree Guys, I knew I had something different compared to the other local service providers I had been working with for years. Eric was out on a project when I called, he drove right to our home, looked at the work we wanted done and got right on it. Had his people out 2 days later to remove 2 tree stumps. We had received a quote (20% off special…) from my previous company it included the same stump removal plus 1 tree trim. Eric assed our job, told us the tree didn't need trimming, so we focused on the stumps. I wish we would have taken before and after photos, oh well next time. Bottom line, we saved money and found a great reliable company with good people. I’ll leave another review when we trim all the trees next year with the Happy Tree Guys!

Eric came to our property, inspected the job and gave us a competitive quote. He and his staff arrived on time, executed the job perfectly, walked each tree before trimming to verify that we were all on the same page, removed all branches and trimmings, and did a complete clean-up before accepting payment. Eric and his team did an amazing job! I was looking for a new person to trim my trees before the summer monsoon season hit. I discovered this company and am so glad I did. I needed two large trees thinned and trimmed back, and three relatively new trees trimmed and pruned so they started looking like trees instead of out-of-control bushes. Scott showed up to provide a quote. He was on time and super professional. He took pictures and notes...something I have never seen anyone else do before. The quote came in half of what someone else quoted me. Trimming trees is never cheap, and I found them to be extremely competitive. They were extremely accommodating when getting this scheduled. The crew, along with Eric, showed up on time. We walked through everything that needed to be done, and they took it from there. I have used other companies in the past. What impressed me most is the care and time the entire team at Happy Tree Guys took to get the job right. Eric worked right alongside the crew the entire time. I observed Eric and his crew stepping back to examine the overall tree, making sure they were getting things right. They did a great job cleaning up the area and made sure that anything that fell on the neighbor's property was cleaned up. And, while I am not sure of the intention, I couldn't help but notice that they did not start to run the chipper until they had accumulated most of the branches and debris. Being that this job started at 7 AM on a Saturday, I am confident that my neighbors appreciated this one small gesture. The crew itself was personable and kind. Eric had his crew here on time on 6/23/25. They were excellent. We had a total of 7 palms trimmed including a date palm that was sculpted like a pineapple. They tarped our entire pool and then cleaned the pool with nets when complete. This is a professional, amiable hard working company, worth every penny... and carries insurance. We will use them next year and have referred to neighbors.

Eric’s crew knew exactly where to notch it and then cut it down so it fell exactly where they intended it to go. Not one other plant in my yard was touched they were so accurate. I had a large saguaro in my yard that was leaning. I was worried about the damage it could cause to my property or the neighbors’ if it fell. I called Happy Tree Guys because they had done work in our neighborhood. They put me on the schedule quickly because of my concerns. What really impressed me was that they brought a crew of four, their equipment and a lift tractor and went right to work. The cactus was removed without any damage to fencing or surrounding structures. It was a fair price for a possibly dangerous job. When they left, cleanup was perfect. Would definitely recommend, very professional.

These guys are awesome! I have a huge tree that the roots were bulging my pavers. Every storm I was in fear it was so thick it would break. They neatly removed/stacked the pavers and removed a 1”root. They shaped/thinned the tree that it looks like a different tree! They shaped 4 trees total and removed on sick tree, cleaned up their mess. They were very polite and asked me on each tree if it met my satisfaction. I will be using them again. Happy Tree service was fantastic..they showed up on time with a very experienced crew of 7..we had a very large mesquite tree that was hanging over our roof as well our neighbors and they took it down using ropes to guide the sections into open spaces between the houses….It was also done at very good price..

Absolutely great! We had a dying saguaro that could have fallen and been a safety hazard. They came out the next day to remove it and also removed a lemon tree that didn't survive the summer. They completed all this in two hours, including thoroughly cleaning up and even washing the wall where cactus debris had landed. The price was fair. They did a terrific job from start to finish and we recommend them 100%. You'll be happy you hired them.

These guys did an amazing job! They removed huge saguaros that were falling professionally, rapidly and at reasonable cost. They left our yard cleaner than it was. My previous experience finding workers who care and do qualify work was hopeless but these guys prove there are people who truly do care about providing high quality service at a reasonable price! Also very responsive. I called them on a Tuesday evening and they were done with the entire removal the next morning. I will hire them again for all my tree maintenance needs.

Fantastic job by Scott and the guys. The job wasn't easy, as my Ficus tree is taller than usual and is thick/overgrown. I was somewhat worried going in because the job had been too difficult for less professional companies that were used in the past. After an informative tour of the job with Scott, the team went at it like an Indianapolis 500 pit crew and kept at it until the job was done a couple of hours later. I Immediately knew they weren't messing around. Crew unloaded and went to town right away removing ten palms including stump removal back to back. Trimmed two trees to include a pine and olive tree desperately needed. Communicated throughout job. So happy with their Service, Price, and hard work! ONE fallen Mesquite Tree cut up and removed (down in a storm). ONE Mesquite tree removed because it was not healthy and an eye sore. One LARGE Mesquite trimmed. WOW!!!! I can’t say enough about Scott and his crew. They really get after it. I can’t stress enough how hard these guys work! The only company I will consider taking care of my trees in the future. Do yourself a favor and line up some of your neighbors to also have their trees trimmed (like I did). Not only does my property look nice…theirs will as well! BTW…stay out of their way when they’re working…they might accidentally remove you too 🤣!

Scott and his team took down 4 large palm trees and trimmed the rest. The entire team was very professional. The job was scheduled quickly, completed quickly, and cleaned up afterward beautifully. Cost was very fair. Would recommend without hesitation.

As with many of the 5 star reviews Scott and his crew (5 workers) did an amazing job in cleaning up 4 mesquite trees that had been neglected for more than a decade. They also trimmed a couple of other trees, including a large mature yucca that was dangerously (for the yucca) growing over our road and subject to collision with garbage and delivery trucks. But the thing that got us to Scott was a 20+ year old lemon tree that had started dropping a significant number leaves, had significant bark cracking, and had been subjected to bad pruning (read: hacking) in the past. Scott came out to look at the tree, identified with a camera app with photos of the leaves on the tree, a number of issues (salt, lack of sufficient fertilizer, and need for deep watering). He was very conservative with pruning leaving some interior branches what probably should go, since they provided some bark shade and their removal in June might have overstressed the tree. They came to work, had several trucks including a large chipper, were efficient and cleaned up the grounds among a variety of cactus plants under the trees. There pricing was fair, they honored Scott's verbal estimate even though I suspect they ended up doing more work that Scott initially expected. I have no reservations in recommending Happy Tree Guys.

I submitted an online request to the company and received a message back from them within an hour. My delight at this speedy response was surpassed by my delight in learning they could visit me that very same day. Scott and a squad of tree pros arrived exactly when they said they would, removed a tree and ground the stump in less than 30 minutes, and left that area tidier than it was when they arrived. They took extra care to protect a building that was very close to the tree. I feel they respected me, my time and my property.
